Regular Session*
  Tuesday 8pm – 10pm
  Friday 7pm – 9pm

  Regular sessions are the back bone of the fraternity. Attendance is the privledge bestowed only to brothers. Brothers come to regular sessions to brush up on basics, trade martial concepts, and find sparring and grappling partners. The Joudai is responsible for running each session, presenting topics, and assuring that a safe environment prevails. The Joudai is assisted by the Marshal and the Master At Arms.

Candidate Session**
  Monday 9:00pm – 11pm
  Thursday 9:00pm – 11pm

  Candidate sessions offer training to Mu Alpha Xi candidates as they go through the orientation process of joining Mu Alpha Xi. Attendance is mandatory for candidates and candidate sessions are only for candidates. At the end of the process a candidate will be able to walk into any martial arts environment and train safely. They will also become familiar with the fraternal concepts based around the information age fraternal model. Candidates will be familiarized with how to roll and fall. They will also learn a bo weapon familiarity drill and an open hand form. The Senior Vice President is responsible for running each candidate session and ensuring that the candidates are ready for initiation. The Senior Vice President is assisted by his or her vice presidents in this endevor.

Development Session
  Saturday 1pm – 3pm

  Each semester every brother is required to publish one article on the website. A weekly Saturday time is set aside in which brothers may use the audio and video equipment of the fraternity as well as meet up with others brothers to help with production.

Executive Committee Meeting***
  Sunday 8:30pm – 10pm
  Executive Committee Meetings are held every two weeks at a place chosen by the president. These meeting are where the majority of decisions are made. All brother have the right to attend however attendence is only mandatory for the president, senior vice president and joudai. The president sets the agenda for the meeting ahead of time and is then amended to include issue brothers feel pertinent ahead of time. Executive committee meeting are best when each operating sphere of the fraternity has 2 to 3 members present, which is almost always the case.

*Regular sessions are only open to brother or candidates with permission from the executive committee.
** Candidate sessions are open to brothers after initiation.
*** The Executive Committee meets every other week in a place designated by the president.
